SGWorld specialise by skilful design of systems designed to aid the
input of important data in a logical, time-effective manner.
Systems are
available "off the shelf" or specially created so that details are entered
by the writer in the same order as the customer's computer data entry
screen. Data Input systems ensure a manual back-up and speed up data entry
as the operator is automatically organised into a safe routine.
Another great advantage of these systems is that there is an opportunity for
a "narrative" giving detail should the need for such information arise.
Data
Input Systems are many and diverse -just some of these are:
CHEQUE
WRITING
-
Ideal for computer users who do not wish to print cheques
automatically. Also acts as an additional security measure where certain
cheques are preferably written by hand. Cheques are printed,
displaying the firm's logo and details thus projecting a high profile.
The great advantage of the system is speed and accuracy.
PURCHASE INVOICE -
The receipt of invoices is recorded on special slips, which
replace the "rubber stamp" method. These slips duplicate onto a
Purchase Invoice register. Each slip is attached to the front of the
invoice and used for the recording of departmental comments. The
register provides a tracking of the movement of the invoice around the
departments. On return the operator works from the details on the slip
in preference to time-consuming scanning of the original invoice for
information.
RECEIPTING -
Personalised receipts record onto a cash received register
which importantly, allows space for considerable detail as to the nature of
the payment. The register can be designed yet again to match the computer
input screen.
TIME COSTING
-
Special slips, either off the shelf or purpose designed,
record onto an input register. There is provision for both chargeable
and non-chargeable time. The system is discreet in operation and
thoroughly effective in that it provides vital back-up should there be a
difference of opinion as to how time was originally allocated.
